Tahoe Real Estate Update – February 2025
I hope your year is off to a great start! If you stuck with your January goals—well done! February is here, and we’re still waiting on a big snowstorm, Tahoe is getting plenty of rain. As I write this, it’s pouring, with wet snow above 9,000 feet. Hopefully, the storm expected later this week delivers as predicted—another few feet would be a huge boost for our snowpack and ski resorts.
Real Estate Market Update
January was a busy month! I closed four escrows, including two of my listings. Sellers are gearing up for the spring market, and I already have three listings set to go live on Compass Excusive, with more waiting until March. If you’re considering selling this year, now is the time to start preparing. Scheduling a meeting early allows us to get ahead with key steps like:
✅ Pre-listing home inspections to avoid surprises
✅ Completing seller disclosures in advance
✅ Strategizing the best launch timing for maximum exposure
On the buyer side, I’m seeing renewed excitement in the market. Many who had paused their Tahoe home search over the past year due to interest rate uncertainty are now returning. It seems the “rate-fate” has been accepted, and buyers are once again recognizing the investment opportunities in Tahoe real estate.
